The Bob Ritley Memorial / Perry Athletic Hall of Fame Run/Walk was started in 2004 in memory of long-time Perry High School football coach and teacher, Bob Ritley.  Coach Ritley lost a long battle with cancer in 2003 and this run/walk has been organized to raise money for both the Bob Ritley Memorial Scholarship Fund and the Perry High School Athletic Hall of Fame.  

The Bob Ritley Memorial Scholarship Fund gives out $1,000 scholarships to area high school seniors that exemplify qualities that honor Coach Ritley.  Winners are chosen based on their applications and references that reflect their outstanding scholastic achievements and involvement in athletics, community service, and leadership activities.
 
To date, we have given almost $25,000 in scholarship awards to area seniors!!
